Brechtje initially came to us for a text. The profile text on her website no longer matched who she was. In the conversations we had, we got to know her as a sensitive and playful person, but also as a powerful professional who uses her intuition as her greatest weapon. Her identity as a person and as an interior designer is full of emotion. Inspired, thoughtful, and gentle emotion, which we carefully described in her profile text, but did not see reflected on her website. When we shared this observation with her, she asked us to help make her website feel like her own again.
We designed and built her a website that works as intuitively as Brechtje herself does. The timeline in the middle of the page is the only guideline she needs to follow within this design. She no longer has to squeeze herself into a grid that doesn’t suit her.
The website is a mood board. A small piece of the web where image, color, and atmosphere dominate. A world of its own where the atmospheres Brechtje designs, styles, and builds are brought to life. Her work and its presentation are now in harmony with eachother, because they both emulate her soul and signature and because they enhance each other in the emotion that radiates from them.
